Mandrake 10.0 LAN Configuration

I am trying to get DSL working on my computer.
On the first screen it has select device to be configured. I select LAN (I am using a Spring 645 series router)
The second screen that comes up it preselects eth0:VIA technologies VT 6102 (Rhine 11
10/100) I click next.
Third Screen Automatic IP (BootP/OHCP)
Fourth Screen Asks for a DHCP Host name I leave this blank because I don't know what it means.
5th Screen says Host name is optional so I leave it blank.
Last Screen Asks for Zeroconf Hostname. I don't know what this means either so I leave it blank.
Then it always comes up CONGRATULATIONS CONFIGURATION SUCCESSFUL restart
X system so no host conflict.
I am still not connected to DSL though.
I don't know if it is because I didn't fill in the blank spaces, but I am not sure what I need to put in them.
Any help would be appreciated. This is a learning process for me.

DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol)

This will automatically give your computer and IP address. you know like 192.168.1.1

Is your router also a DHCP server? Mine is. Although I have turned this feature off because I prefer to specify my ip manually.

If your router does have a DHCP server try putting the routers IP in this section. This will be something like 10.1.1.1 or 192.168.1.1
