Unhappy mandrake 10.0 boot disk problem

Hey, i'm trying to create the boot disk for mandrake 10.0 but whenever i get to 68% of creating the boot disk using the rawwritewin program it stops and says "the drive cannot find the sector requested", and i've tried a few different images for it (cdrom.img) and it still goes to the same percentage, any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like your first step is to copy the image to either another file or to nul.

"copy <\somepath>\<imagefile> <\somepath>\<somefile>" ; of course you don't copy it to itself!
-or-
"copy <\somepath>\<imagefile> nul"

This is to see if you had a sector fail.
If so, I'm sure you know what to do.

lol
