Make error

I am getting an error as below.How do I resolve the error

make[2]: *** No rule to make target `\
', needed by `mpg123'.

Can someone tell me how can I resolve this error.

Theres no .configre file in the directory.

Looks like an old bug in mpg123-0.59r ( 2003 or older ! ) !

Latest is : mpg123-1.12.5
http://sourceforge.net/projects/mpg123/files/
