I can also see my ip got blacklisted when checked using mxtoolbox.
How to whitelist my ip so that i can send mails again???
MXTOOLBOX provides a link for each site where you're listed. This link will (usually) give you information as to how to be removed.

It's also important to make sure your Reverse DNS and Mail Server are properly configured (Pointing to the right address, not running as an open relay, etc)

It has become increasingly difficult to run your own mail server because of these often unjustified blockings.
Perhaps, but I wouldn't call the blocks as being "unjustified". The person(s) to blame would be the one(s) who got your IP blocked in the first place.... spammers

Spam blocks are PITA, but cleaning up the reputation for an IP is simple enough though how long it remains unblocked depends on the operator (usage, configurations, etc)

My statement was inaccurate. It did not refer to blocking due to blacklisting. But, for example, if you start running your own SMTP server, all mails to Outlook.com recipients end up in the recipient's spam folder. Which is due to "insufficient reputation". Even if your mail scores 10/10 on mail-tester.com.

Being listed on a blacklist because your mail server was used for spamming is too bad, but not unjustified. As long as you can get unlisted again in a reasonable amount of time.

Yea... Outlook addresses can be a PITA both for Incoming and Outgoing messages, though in my experience most of the problems usually ends up being due to poorly configured Exchange servers :\

Having valid DKIM and SPF signatures "can" help if you haven't already set them up.

Luckily I don't seem to have too many issues with outlook recipients... There are about 15 users that would have blown up my inbox if there were.
