lost task-bar network-manager icon kde

Hello,

I lost my task bar icon for network manager in the lower right corner of the screen. I was setting up a vpn and accidentally exited the program. Afterward I cant figure out how to get it back.

I can use network manager with no problem but it really annoying having it sit on the screen instead of having it in the corner on the task bar.

Does anyone know how I can get it back?

Do you have the little triangle icon next to / near the clock? (when you hover over it it should say "Show hidden items")

If so, right-click it, select System Tray Settings, and in "Display" check "Network Management". Also make sure in "Entries" that Network Management is not hidden.

If not, you may need to add the System Tray widget back into your panel.

Thank you so much.

It worked perfectly.
