loop backing using null modem


hi, friends i hav a project on linux
first thing i have made a null modem of 9-pinF.
now i hav to write two programs such that one program will send the data to serial COM port and 2nd program in the second window on the same computer will receive that data as the data will reflect back from the null modem i.e when i type in one window it should be seen in the second window..
plz tell me that two programs friends as soon as possible....

I don't think you can have 2 separate applications accessing the same serial port at the same time, you may need to write just one application that will send and receive.

BTW .. your chances of getting someone to provide whole applications for you when you're supposed to be writing them is pretty much /dev/zero, make an attempt and ask for help if you get stuck.

i hav tried it on windows using bioscom program and whatever i hav typed was simultaneously seen on the window but i dont know how to access comport on linux exactly thats wat i needed........looking forward for ur help...
