Hi guys, i'm relatively new to linux so please bear with me.
I recently bought a machine with the intention of running a home server and decided to go with Fedora after much exploring of others distros.
For the most part it seems to be a great distro but!!! I started to explore the
control centre and then the
login manager. In the
login manager i simply tried to change the login screen to include a small png image (no file editing, all done through the GUI).
After this i was unable to shut down the computer! When i did eventually reboot the load screen reports problems with the file system and the OS wont start.
How could something so simple corrupt a whole system???????
Please help.
