Location of downloaded packaged

Hi all!

Can anyone guide me as to where downloaded packages are stored on my local machine (when I download packages using apt-get). I am running Ubuntu 7.04. Purpose of this exercise is that I want to add packages to the repo (manually) and cache it for my other Ubuntu machines to use.

Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you.
