Angry Linux mint can't connect to the internet

Ok well I created a new wireless connection called w00t and it is a WPA & WPA2 Personal. So I created a password and it says I'm connected but when I opened up firefox it always says it can't find the server at whatever site I go to (I even tried google so I know it's my internet)

Maybe I'm doing something wrong can someone help me?

Thanks.

Is this wireless connection a home router?

If so, did you put the DNS servers into the settings of it?

What does your /etc/resolv.conf file say?
