Angry Linux Installation on Window OS


Hi, I'm new here.
I'm trying to find my way around to install Linux on my windows 10 OS but it keeps giving installation error. Please I need help fixing it. Thanks

You will have to be a lot more detailed than that to get any help. First off, the link below describes windows sub-system for Linux. Is that what you are referring to?

If that is not it, then you will need to give more details on which of the 500+ distributionss of Linux you are trying to install. If you are not using the software described at the link above then you will not be installing Linux "on" your windows OS as it is an operating system not an application. You also need to post the specific "installation error" you get.

I know you asked about installing but consider using a free virtual machine if your system is more than the most minimal hardware.

I'm puzzled. Could clarify what exactly you are attempting to do and what error message you receive?

Also, I second jefro's suggestion. If you want to install Linux in a running Win10 system, your best option is to use a virtualizer, assuming that you can devote adequate RAM to the virtual machine.

VirtualBox works quite nicely for home use.
