Hi, Welcome to LQ!

LQ has a fantastic search function that may save you time waiting for an answer to a popular question.

With over 3 million posts to search it's possible the answer has been given.

Be as descriptive as possible, the possibilities are endless.

This would be my heading....

Can you be a bit more specific. Which distro are you using? Linux version 6 can be a lot of things like Ubuntu 6.06 or 6.10, RH6, fedora 6 etc.

Further it might help if you post your hardware configuration.

dm indicates software raid (if I'm not mistaken) and I'm not familiar with that, but others might have ideas once you post the additional info.
