maybe Im an idiot or lagging behind somewhere,
but WTF are you talking about? how can you install lilo on a fat32 partition? install lilo in linux, generate the lilo file, and then simply run lilo form the command line, and it will write itselfinto the mbr....

peace

I believe that lilo -u will uninstall lilo from wherever it currently is installed.

Lilo, or Grub, can be installed on either the MBR of a disk or on the boot sector of a partition. In Lilo's case, when it installs, it saves a copy of the MBR, or boot sector, in a file. The uninstall simply overwrites the MBR, or the boor sector, with the contents of that file.
