lilo in suse sles

hi all,

am new to SuSE SLES, i installed it properly on a hp proliant ml server, everything went fine and is fine , but in the lilo- it shows 3 options-
-linux
-suse
-memory tester

so my ques are:-
1) wat is the diff between first two options - i can see that the kernal and initrd file were diff but what r the other diff and wat is the need of two options?
2) wat is memory tester for?

with thanks

I have been using suse for 3 years. I booted suse once and it worked. Otherwise I have never used it.

If you boot into the memory tester it will slowly work its way through your memory testing it for bad memory. I have never had any use for this function.

Whenever I do a SuSE install I delete the suse kernel and memory tester as a waste of space and take them out of the LILO screen as a waste of time.
