LILO hung up after RH installs?

I thought it was just my RH7.3, so I tried going back to RH7.2, but the problem still occurs. When I boot up and install, everything works decent, kind of. There are some prompts saying that my partition structure is strange and that boot loaders might not work with it, but with the settings untouched(just wipped clean, but their sizes, settings, and format(SWAP and EXT3) are the same as previously.). It worked fine when I had Slack8.1, and then when I put RH7.2 on, but when I put RH7.3 on, it's been screwed up ever since.

When I boot up, LILO displays the following line after the BIOS information:

LI_

Anyone care to help me?

Just a stab in the dark, but the only time I've seen LILO do that is when the initrd boot image is toasted. To fix it, I typically boot up with a restore disk (given I built one), and rebuild the kernel and initrd image. You might also try running 'linuxconf' and reconfiguring LILO and/or running 'lilo' on it's own and see if that fixes it.

Just a thought.
