Red face Kubuntu / Win10 Dual-Boot, Kubuntu cannot save files into the data partition because "Read-Only"

I have Win10 partition, Kubuntu partition and data partition

I am trying to save some files into the data partition but it is not letting me because

I am logged into my Kubuntu as "admin" and I am using sudo command to save the files.

What type of filesystem is the data partition? If it is NTFS then it is probably due to the fact that Windows default shutdown is to hibernate which leaves the filesystem in an unknown state. The best way would be to switch Windows from hibernate to full shutdown.

If you make a habit of never shutting Windows down, instead rebooting at least to the Grub menu before powering off, then Windows will always leave filesystems in clean and ready state for running Linux.
