Keyboard Shortcut Keys

Sorry to be hailing y'all with so many questions, but I have no one local (that I know of) to ask Linux questions to. Anyways, I use a Windows keyboard with shortcut keys (the blue Multimeida one) and I was just wondering if there is anything I can install to allow me to use these?

Cheers,
Dan

Will that work in KDE as well as GNOME? Is that the case with most programs?

Cheers,
