Kernel Panic error not sync by ide drivers


Hi to all,


I am Having Pentium IV Celeron 1.2Ghz machine. I can install Red Hat 9.0, but I cant install RHEL 4. When I am creating the partition it’s accepting, but at the start of installation it displaying kernel panic error and not sync by ide drivers, please send me the solution.

Sounds as though your bootloader isn't configured correctly. Are you able to boot into anything?

Please post the exact kernel panic message. Often this means that there is something not quite right with your hardware which you will need to investigate.
