KCRON getting files ?!


Hi i have a problem, i lost my HD on my old linux puter, and i cant remember how i set it up before...

I wanna log on to an ftp at preset times and get a file, download it to a place i choose..

any ideas ???

It would help if you posted the exact distro & version you have, and also the HW specs you can remember.
PS What is KCRON ? ... or did you mean cron?

I use Debian, and cron it may be, it says kcron in kde, and i want to connect to an ftp and download a txt file from it to a specified map on my linux computer..

i found a way to solve it.....

wget did it all :P but thx anyway...
