No, we can't suggest anything because you have provided no details that would let us help you. Read the "Question Guidelines" link in my posting signature.

You're using an old version of Ubuntu, don't tell us what version of openLDAP you're using, whether or not other clients can connect to LDAP or not, show us any of the log files, tell us about your environment/requirements/etc., and mention pgina, but also don't tell us what diagnostics/configurations you have performed on the Windows system. We cannot guess.

First thing would be to make sure that your LDAP server is running, and that you're able to perform an ldap query from the command-line on the server with the same credentials you're using on Windows.

Ok, so again:
  • Have you checked the logs?
  • Have you verified the service is running?
  • What is the environment these machines are in?
  • Are you able to log in on the server itself and/or run an ldap query from the command line with those credentials?
  • Have you EVER been able to log in with LDAP, or is this a totally new installation?
Still no information to even begin to guess as to the problem. We don't know if there are firewalls/security in place between the systems, whether this has ever worked or not, or anything past "failed to connect". Have you done ANY basic troubleshooting? Can you ping the machines from each other? Can you connect with ANY protocol? And PHPldapadmin is *NOT* the version of openldap...have you only installed the front end and not the actual LDAP system???

Hi,
I have done everything to connect to client. The IP address is pinging in server machine but not in client machine. Can I get any possible solution for this problem. Or else I have to install another version of Ubuntu. My current Ubuntu version is 16.04 where openLDAP server is installed.

Sorry, but did you not read or understand the questions you've been asked??? You have been asked SEVERAL questions that you have either ignored or not answered. We can't guess as to what to tell you based on what you've posted; restating your question doesn't tell us anything new. Either provide details and answer the questions asked, or contact Microsoft for help. Not much else we can tell you if you won't answer questions.

And some **VERY BASIC** logic will tell you that if the two machines can't see each other over the network, you *VERY OBVIOUSLY* won't be able to use any network protocols will you? AGAIN: you were asked about your environment; this includes things like firewalls and network topology.
