is there a command that displays processor information? ex: AMD DURON 800mhz


is there a command that displays processor information? ex: AMD DURON 800mhz or Intel Pentium IV 1.6Ghz

how about displaying information of the motherboard and memory?

For the processor info:
twister root # cat /proc/cpuinfo

For memory info:
cat /proc/meminfo

For system load:
cat /proc/loadavg

There are more things you can view, like interrupts etc etc

Hope this helps ...
