Exclamation introducing mapquest (me)

Hi. I'm new to this forum, so I'll introduce myself.

I'm a college student.
I have dabbled in linux for years, but I only USE windows.
I'm really interested in all the virtualization stuff that is being done lately and I think virtualization of all types of machines ought to be a core part of any system, not just an option.
I am interested in "microformats" and meta-anything and I think google's approach of being a meta-layer on top of existing services is the right path to follow instead of making a "better" duplicate of an existing service. (like when you search for a map or area code or movie or something and they pull info from other sites and put it in a good format that could be machine readable)
And I am interested in very very cheap computing, such that you can put a little intelligence and networking in anything for cents.

Welcome. BTW, which distro do you use? You didn't put one in your profile.
