Very new to linux
First time install of mandrake linux 9.2
I downloaded cd 1 x86 cd 2 x86 cd 3 x86 and something like md5sums.asc
My question is i have booted up with cd 1 then it asks me for cd 2 no problem there. Then i get to Please insert the cd labeled international cd
I dont have 1 i tried the cd 3 no luck there what do i need to do please help
international cd IS 3rd Mandrake cd, i know that for a fact since i installed it just last night. It should have worked fine for you. try it again. if it still does not work, consider re-burning cd3, maybe it got corrupted or something.
possibly, but i think there are some packages on that cd that something else depends on. you CAN try skipping it, cause there aren't that much on it, but do so on your own risk, be prepared to reinstall mandrake later.
