internal mail problem
first of all, thanks for your time...
OK, here is the thing: I have a machine that serves as a ssh server and I want the users to be able so send me (both 'root' as 'delruet') mail using the 'mail' command.
But, since I have two user account (root and delruet) I want to be able to send mail to the users of my box... I use KDE and for my e-Mails I use KMail (for both root as delruet)...
When I log in as root and set up the settings for KMail ('local mail' for input and /sbin/sendmail for output)... All goes well... I can send and receive mails in KMail
BUT
When I log in as delruet (plain user) and do the same settings for KMail, I cannot send mail (using /sbin/sendmail - KMail just keeps trying and trying and trying to send mail) nor can I read my mail (mail I did receive and that I see when I enter 'mail' in the console: "You have new mail")
What is wrong and what can I so to make sure that I can send and receive mail in KMail as a user
