Normal installation with least problems

First, partition disk
Next install Windows
Lastly, install Linux

Do you mean that you want to repartition the disk that you have Linux installed on and then install Windows without loosing Windows?

What is your current partitioning scheme and how much room do you have?

# How are the hard drives partitioned
fdisk -l

# How much free/used drive space
df -h

If the whole harddrive is one partition, you would be better off just reformatting with two partitions (three with swap).
