Installing RH8

Does RH8 have a bad record of install problems?

Not for me. I ahve it on two different machines and I found it quite easy.

Well As my machine is lafing in my face right now, All day yesterday I tried over and over trying to get an instal on a 500mhz but it kept throwing this error at me about installing dev-3.3.1-2, but for some reason after trying to install it for the 7th or 8th time It decides to go through with it. I guess persitance is what's going to get this pos through.

I have it installed on 4 machines + an HP laptop that isn't even listed on linux-on-laptops. No problems here...

Where did you get that idea?

People hit problems with Linux installs all the time, Redhat is popular, doesn't mean it's got install problems.....

Didn't you know that the version number of RedHat tells you how many times you have to try installing it before it works?
