i try to use module-assistant to work it. but get trouble
Code:
kernel-headers-2.6.8-2-386:
  Installed: 2.6.8-13
  Candidate: 2.6.8-13
  Version Table:
 *** 2.6.8-13 0
        500 http://http.us.debian.org testing/main Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
the module-assistant ask me to install kernel-headers-2.6.7-1-386 but i has installed 2.6.8-2-386, why doesn't work???the module-assistant told me that i don't specify kernel-headers to use and i check /var/cache/modass/kernel-headers.avail_version. It just write "none". I think i should know how to specify kernel-headers.

ERROR: Unable to find the kernel source tree for the currently running kernel.
Please make sure you have installed the kernel source files for your
kernel; on Red Hat Linux systems, for example, be sure you have the
'kernel-source' rpm installed. If you know the correct kernel source
files are installed, you may specify the kernel source path with the
'--kernel-source-path' commandline option.

Do you have the source for the kernel your using, If you do did you try running the nvidia install with --kernel-source-path?
