Installing ndiswrapper from cd

Okay, I'm using Fedora Core 4 and I'm trying to Install ndiswrapper from a Cd that I copied it to via windows. As suggested by my choice of forums, I'm a Linux newbie so I need some barney-style intructions on commands and what not. thanks

tried that a little

Thanks for the response, but I have tried that particular site. I managed to copy ndiswrapper to a directory, changed to that directory, and tried to install it with the make command, but still no luck. Linux keeps telling me that I'm missing an argument or that it can't find the make files.

got er installed!

Hey I got the thing installed anyhow.. now I'll need to find out how to use it.
the first thing i had to do was go one level deeper in my directory... there was a directory below the extcracted files that i didn't know of.. then it was a matter of using "make" , and "install".... (possibly "make install" as well, is there such a thing?)...
Anyhow, that's the first time I've ever compiled anything on Linux and then installed it like that... I'm sure I'll be back on this forum soon enough.

Aaron
