Wink Installing Mandriva as guest on Ubuntu 9.04 host system

I am running a dual boot system of XP & Ubuntu 9.04.I successfully hosted XP on Ubuntu 9.04. When trying to install Mandriva as guest using a CD the guest virtual system reads the CD, starts the boot process then just hangs.I am using Sun Virtualbox version 3.0.0. Also when booting from XP and installing Ubuntu 9.04 as guest, the installation process hangs about 82% into the installation when doing a mirror copy.

I would like to replace dual booting with using virtual machines from virtualbox. My goal is to use linux full time in my company.

I hope my problem is easy to follow.
