installed xorg, can't boot now. ohci_hcd... repeats and I cant do anything

I just installed xorg and a few other programs on debian (apt-get dist-upgrade) and I get : ohci_hcd 0000:00:02.0: wakeup and it repeats the whole way down and I can't login or anything. Only way to login is to revert to old kernel in recovery mode.

Anyone know how to fix this? please, thank you.

Not a very good answer, but maybe boot into recovery mode and then apt-get remove xserver-xorg and then you could re-install xserver-xfree86... not a very good fix...

Hm, thanks, but that did not seem to fix it. Is there a way to find out what was recently upgraded? (some sort of history for the terminal) so I can remove one by one to find out what it was? Then I can wait for it to be fixed and apt update upgrade and see if that fixes it.
