installation help??

Hey,
I'm installing Red Hat for the very first time and not having very much luck.

When I instal, in graphical mode of text mode, it loads anaconda and probes for the video card, giving the result:

Rendition Verite 2x00

and then it just stops and hangs. I can't ven get the installer to begin!

Does anyone have any advice for me?

thanks,
chris

what version of redhat are you trying
that video card (Diamond Stealth II S220 ?) works with Xfree86 4.x with the vga driver
and with the xFree86 3.3.x server named XF86_SVGA

if you are trying to install a newer version with the (assinine) switch to x.org
your card may not be (i think isn't) supported
