Question Install VectorLinux from USB thumbdrive (?)

Hi, I would like to install Vector Linux, but my motherboard likes to overload and stop using the IDE CD-RW drive when I'm installing

I was wondering... how would I install VectorLinux from a USB 1gig Thumbdrive?

if there is any way at all I'd love to know.

vectorlinux thumb drive

Realize this is an old thread, but seeing that vectorlinux just came out with 7.0 gold on distrowatch this week, I guess it's still timely.

You can make a bootable flash drive of the install cd following this tutorial here. http://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=LkbZs8VVGRk

For the live cd you can use unetbootin.
