OK, I am a COMPLETE NEWBIE! There, it's said.

I just got a copy of PClinixOS to try. I have an old Dell server with a SCSI RAID 5 array. When I boot PClinixOS from the CD, it seems to boot fine. The installation wizard offers me either a standard drive or a USB drive. If I select "standard", it says there's no room and quits.

Do I need to get some other version? Can I install this on my current configuration? Is there something I can download to help? Why am I asking questions all out of order? Why can't my fingers spell linUx? (I'm just an old dog trying to learn new tricks...)

I need some coffee.

You probably need to pass some options to your kernel when booting so it knows to probe for SCSI. I've never tried this distro myself so I cannot go to specifics. I'm sure there is documentation on the installation disk and they certainly have it on their web site too.
