Incorrect timezone with NTP

Hi,
I just finished spinning up RHEL 7.2 server on MS Azure. I'm planning to setup Puppet Master on this one and hence configured it with Australian NTP pool zone from http://www.pool.ntp.org/zone/au. The servers are all based out of Australia East (Melbourne), however, I realized the server returns in UTC timezone. Below is the timedatectl status output:
[root@icarepuppetALL1 etc]# timedatectl status
Local time: Wed 2016-04-13 01:56:55 UTC
Universal time: Wed 2016-04-13 01:56:55 UTC
RTC time: Wed 2016-04-13 02:03:07
Time zone: Etc/UTC (UTC, +0000)
NTP enabled: yes
NTP synchronized: yes
RTC in local TZ: no
DST active: n/a
NTPQ returns the following:
[root@icarepuppetALL1 etc]# ntpq -p
remote refid st t when poll reach delay offset jitter
==============================================================================
+y.ns.gin.ntt.ne 249.224.99.213 2 u 17 128 377 144.830 -1.697 2.114
*mail1.selcomm.c .PPS. 1 u 15 128 377 1.788 0.043 1.147
-cachens2.onqnet 42.48.15.250 3 u 16 128 377 12.120 2.085 0.898
+cachens1.onqnet 9.12.250.112 3 u 8 128 377 12.169 -0.863 0.987
Any suggestions on how I can turn off UTC and enable Australian timezone would be of great help. Thanks.
Regards
Karthik
