implement software RAID at run-time

Can someone pls guide me through the steps...or a url to where i can implement software RAID at run-time..and also is setting up LVM possible at run time or does it only install during install time? Thanks

and:software raid howto
to google. Read those two documents and you should be in business.

I have construed my raid arrays and lvm drives after installing my system.
