Unhappy Im getting a mysql_error Duplicate entry?

I have just installed snort/apache/php/mysql/acid on RH9.
My acid console seems to be running properly but when I type in command snort -c /etc/snort/snort.conf I get this error: database: mysql_error: Duplicate entry '1-52' for key 1
SQL=INSERT INTO event (sid,cid,signature,timestamp) VALUES ('1', '52', '1', '2003-10-17 13:17:24-04')

It does this several times. What does this mean? What can I do?
