I think SELinux killed samba, but I am not sure
I get this error when trying to start the smb service:
audit(11532085633.826:348): avc: denied { append } for pid=5076 comm="smbd" name="smb.log" dev=dm-0 ino=90144174 scontext=root:system_r:smbd_t:s0 tcontext=root object_r:usr_t:s0 tclass=file
No matter what I try, smb will not start. When I do 'service smb status' I get 'smb dead but pid file exists'. I have deleted the pid file but it doesn't change anything.
Is SELinux not allowing smb to start? the only thing that is confusing is that it still won't start when I do 'setenforce 0'.
