What is your exact purpose of using export proxy settings?

And for exporting proxy settings check this below mentioned page:

http://www.darian-brown.com/export-proxy-in-linux/

The syntax is:

export http_proxy=http://userassword@proxyort/

or

export http_proxy=http://proxyort/

Sorry, in-place of smileys there is (colon and p)
