I finally was able to get the Apache2 default page to work but now I'm stuck with "too many arguments" when putting in Cd/Var/www/gci/nano. I always felt rushed at school but now that I have time I feel more relaxed which helps me to learn better. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much Jay

Help with what??? You haven't actually given us any information that would let anyone help you. You don't tell us the version/distro of Linux, version of Apache, what the 'few errors' actually are, or where you're seeing that message.
If you actually typing in "Cd/Var/www/gci/nano", I'm not surprised you're getting errors. Linux is case-sensitive, so the "cd" command won't work. You're not putting a space between the "cd" and the path (which is ALSO case sensitive, so /Var is not the same as "var", and there is no 'gci' directory unless you created it..it's 'cgi' or 'cgi-bin'), and you're trying to change directories into an editor (nano) program. None of which makes sense. What are you actually trying to do?? If it's editing a file, it would be:
Code:
cd /var/www/cgi
...then...
nano <some file name>
