Hello all.I'm relatively new to Linux,but am learning the hard way.In at the deep end and all that...

Anyhow,Im running Linux Puppy 4.2 on an old Dell Latitude laptop (128MB RAM 15GB HDD P3 960mhz)..Everythings going as swimmingly as can be expected for a new operating system!!

EXCEPT- I cannot get it to play xvid video files,which is gutting as most of my movies are in that format!I installed codecs for mpg and mp4,but no picture.What am I doing wrong,it only plays the sound.The idea was I use Linux on laptop for my media player and internet,and stick with XP purely for audio editing.Its not possible at the minute!

Please help me,Im stuck!
