Cool i have a Elive comp, i want to format it and make it debian, want to keep macish gui


i want to make a debian based computer to a enlightenment gui

teach me oah mighty unnoobs

Install Debian and then install Enlightenment as the GUI (by doing apt-get install enlightenment, I would imagine) - job done!

I guess you could try installing Debian, upgrade to unstable, and then try to use this guy's repositories for E17.

Edit: XavierP's advice is good if you don't mind using E16...

I also dont know what to download from the debian page(its a gateway pentium 4, before elive it had ME

If you have broadband, download this one. It has just the basic packages and will get everything else from the web.
