I am unable to access the data in cd-roms from k12ltsp clients?

I am unable to access the cdroms in k12ltsp4.1 clients. The supermount module is at /opt/ltsp/i386/lib/modules/2.4.26-ltsp-3/kernel/fs/supermount/supermount.o
but i am using the 2.6.12-1.1447_FC4 kernel.I think that this could be the issue.so i would like to know if there is anyway to make supermount module present in 2.4.26-ltsp-3kernel to make it work in 2.6.12-1.1447_FC4 kernel(currently i am working on) or how to build it in 2.6.12-1.1447_FC4 kernel ?Thanks
