You don't have the required authorization? Does that mean your user account? Or do you not have any root / sudo control at all. If the latter then you really need to get with whoevers machine this is and get the disk mounted in a static location. Then it's as simple as either moving the .steam folder and symlinking or adjusting the library directory in steam itself.

I think I didn't type that out correctly. In the disks application, when you go to edit options there is a option that says, word to word, -'require additional authorization to mount' which from what I understand would add another layer of authorization. I
do not have that option enabled. That's what I was trying to say
My account is the 'administrator', if that term applies here with full access and control. I have root and sudo control.
How would I go about getting the disk mounted in a static location?
