[SOLVED] How to set display to run Firefox from tty

Dear all,
how can I set DISPLAY command to run Firefox on say tty1?

you cant, directly that is
you can start another X session (X :1) or something like that and then start firefox on that, but tty1 isn't an X11 display and can't display X programs such as firefox

if yer still looking for a graphical wob browser for non X you CAN enable framebuffer mode (add vga=XXX (791 for instance) to the kernel line in grub.cfg) and download and compile links2 with graphical mode

$ cd links-2.3pre1
$ ./configure --enable-graphics
$ make
$ sudo make install

then run links from ttyX
