How to merge partitioned usb flash drive and format it in kali linux
Hey Guys, i am in a big trouble. please help me.i have a usb flash drive of 8 gb but in my kali linux it is only showing 5 gb. I have already formated it many times but it is still partitioned.how can i completely format it and make it again as new. please reply me 🙏
Did you install the Kali ISO to this flash drive? If so create a new partition table of msdos with a single partition and format it as vfat. Unless you create a new partition table the drive will be the size of the ISO file.
i used kali linux official iso image from the official website of kali linux.then i made my usb drive bootable from balena etcher software in my windows 10. after then i installed kali linux using that pen drive and deleted my previous windows system from everywhere in my hard disk. now i wanna get my windows back so i downloaded windows iso image in my kali linux and tried to make my pendrive bootable through it.but i tried it many times I can't format my pen drive. it is partitioned and i have windows iso inside its partitions cuase i made it bootable again using same software but it is not working to boot into windows again. i am stuck in this kali operating system and i aslo don't know how to use it. please help me sir.please
but the main problem is that my usb drive is not formated. that is already a bootable drive of windows 10 but it is not working to boot the windows and that is why i am trying to format it and delete all of it's partitions. how can i delete all it's partitions and make it again a usable 8 gb pen drive.please reply my question.
