How to get Root E-mail in Ximain Evolution

Hello,

I would like to be able to use e-mail program either Ximian Evolution or KMail to check e-mail messages that are sent to my Root account. I can see these messages using GKrellM Sys Monitor it says that I have 15 of them, but I cannot read them from that program ( or I don't know how it sort of looks like it could even be done in that program too somehow. I would like to know the exact text that I need to type into my Mail Program in order to view those messages.

Thanks in advance if you can help . . .

Cont'

I figured it out ( I think ) I select local delivery from the "server types" menu, after that I set up the out going to my ISP as it was the default , does anyone know if that was a good or bad idea to do?

Thanks,

Aaron

MORE

I have the root accounts mail working now, but the e-mails that I get are dated every other day or so it looks like, I looked in the log files prefferences but could not find the option that I need. What I want is not to be e-mailed an update on security every day or so but to have an e-mail come to me for each "bad" login attempt or whatever my log files would give a red "X" to.

Thanks,

Aaron
