How to get information about all hardware


How to get information about all hardware installed on PC under Red Hat Linux 9.

/sbin/lspci -vvv

As root of course, type that into a terminal and hit ENTER.

You can also use aother 'lsxxx' where xxx is the type of device such as USB:
/sbin/lsusb

Some distros don't have "other" devices, but some do, YMMV.

/sbin/lspci: no such file or directory
/sbin/lspnp: /proc/bus/pnp not available

have a look in /proc.

cd /proc
ls
(pick something)
cat cpuinfo (for example)

Is it good that 3 pci devices have the same IRQ 11 (VGA compatible controler and USB controllers)?
