How to fix a Truncated Gzip input

Hi everyone. Could anybody tell me how to fix Truncated Gzip input
error. I was extracting a very large file on portable hard-drive
and this this error showed up "A error occurred while extracting
files" truncated gzip input. Any help would be great in solving
this.

Thanks

Sounds like the file might be corrupted. Try getting it from the original source again.

Well, truncated basically means that it is not all there.

You can't "recover" what isn't there... so I'd try to get the complete file from the original source as suggested above.
