Question How to configure Network Booting Service (in RHEL 3 using GUI tool provided with it )

Dear all

I'm trying to configure Network Booting service in my Redhat Enterprise 3 AS from GUI tool provided under ...System Settings-->Service Settings--> Network Booting Service

I've /tftpboot directory and it is containing boot directory also and it /tftpboot is NFS exported also (and also mounted on /mnt/nfs direcrory )

but it gives me a error like this
" The diskless directory must be NFS exported and contain a boot sub-directory " and I'm unable to configure net-boot

can anyone help to solve this problem... please

Thnx and Regards T.C

First you need to copy the images directory from your installation CD/DVD to your system and put that to /etc/exports and share it via NFS. hope u have system-config-netboot package installed.

check the /var/log/messages

In my case, I had a problem with interpretation of my /etc/hosts file.
