How to change installation disk location

I installed mandrake 10.1 sucessfully a few weeks ago but I just tried to install some networking packages and was prompted to insert the installation disk 1 into device hdc. Where is the configuration file that tells it where to look for the installation disks when needed?

There might not be one---it may simply go looking for a CD drive in one of the standard places (fstab?)
I assume that /dev/hdc is your CD drive---if not, the mystery is deeper.
