how i backup oracle database in linux suse


hi there i am new to linux and oracle i need to take backup of my database and i am connecting linux machine through putty shown as

suse004:~#

can anyone help me in connecting my database as i already have credentials to take backup. please

Backup itself is no different than windows, both offer sqlplus command. As much as I hate that thing, it does work.
